Some of the simple things we didn't realize we were missing living in our town home. We never had 'out-door' responsibilities. I didn't know it could be so fun.
All I could think about while I took these photos was the Charlie Brown cartoon where Linus jumps in the leaves with a sticky sucker face. If you notice... Zack has a sticky peanut-butter-and-jelly face. He did not care at all.
The sun was too bright for Emily. It would have been perfect!!There is ALWAYS one child to ruin a perfect shot.
Still, too cute!!
The pile was much bigger than Zack!! He was outside ALL DAY, helping Jordan rake and jump into the pile of leaves. His laugh and Jordan's laugh was priceless!
Tyler loved jumping but not raking.
Doesn't surprise me.
The best part was throwing the leaves up in the air. We had a great day doing simple things in the yard. Moments we never knew we missed, I am so glad my kids get to experience this now.
Lesson learned: 12 or 2, you are NEVER to old to play in the leaves.
