They did it!! They made it to the Carnation Bowl!!The entire team sported mohawks. Team Spirit. They had it.
They were the coolest group of 13 year old's I have ever had the privilage to meet.
The 5 coaches were pretty cool, too.
The game started at 4:30 in a 5 star stadium, complete with announcer who introduced all the players over the loud speaker. They asked each boy's mother to go down to the field, and the boys gave us each a blue carnation.
We cryed.

We lost the game. Green Mountain was really good. Undefeated. Our guys played their hearts out. It was a good game.

I am so proud of him. He sure isn't my little Jo anymore... :( tell him congrats and I am so glad he got so far. (what... is he playing high school football next year? good grief...)
Great job Jo and Todd! What an awesome experience. I'm sure he's excited to continue in football - this time with the big boys in HS. Congrats on a successful year!
