More Christmas Fun...2009

WOW...Santa didn't pass up our house. Kids must have been pretty good this year.
Good Morning Sleepy-heads!! We made them stay in bed until 6:00am. They were up around 5:00am. They all had their Christmas Eve jammies on...Arn't they cute? Jo and Ty just got p.j. bottoms this year. So comfy!

Everyone got what they asked for.
Nintendo DSi's for the big boys,

Makeup and dolls for Emily. This doll looks JUST like her!!
Brown eyes, freckles and light brown/blond hair. It is amazing! Her BFF for sure!!
She named her Isabella.
And Zack got his Motorcycle.
I think it was a little more than what he was looking for, however he also got tools, so he was out in the garage "fixing" it before he would ride it.
It took him a while, but he finally got on {with Jordan} and rode down the street.
It was a good Christmas.
Thanks Santa!

Christmas Fun...2009

Making sugar cookies for Santa. Thanks Betty Crocker for putting the cookie mix in a bag. All I had to add was an egg and butter. No time for fancy cut-outs...just dropped spoonfulls onto cookie sheet and baked. I did however make home-made butter cream frosting. Mmmmmmm...so yummy! I told the kids not to be stingy with the frosting.
So Zack added BOTH colors to his cookie.

AND sugar sprinkles.

And MORE sugar sprinkles!

We all agree'd that he could eat his cookie. NO ONE else wanted it.
He has a bit of a sugar high now.

Feliz Navidad

we couldn't stop laughing either.

Merry Christmas er...Feliz Navidad!

Wild Lights

It's the SCHULTZ FAMILY TRADITION
Every year since Jordan was 1, we have visited the Denver Zoo Lights.
It just keeps getting better and better.
I just don't have a good enough camera to capture just how beautiful the lights are.
This is the Gorilla we get our picture by EVERY year.
This is the first year we have EVER gone without a wagon. Zack did great. They all did.
OOPS...Jordan blinked
Do-over...
MUCH better.
Emily can't take a picture without tilting her head.
Silly girl.
The kids always get to see Santa, too.
Jordan and Tyler didn't talk to him this year, I just made them take a picture.
Emily asked for Make-up, and dress up stuff...oh my.
Zack asked for a motorcycle.

just another Schultz Family Tradition!!
Merry Christmas

Zack's Christmas Program

Santa was there...Zack has him FOOLED!
I guess he was pretty good this year. He had his moments when I wanted to KILL him. But for the most part, he was pretty good.

He was a singing elf in Mr. David's 4 year old class. They sang Felis Navidad(sp) and, Santa Claus is coming to Town. They all were so cute.
Mr. David and Ms. Samantha are really good teachers for Zack. They are patient with him, and help him to make friends and good choices.

Isn't he handsome? I actually bought him nice clothes for his program. He still had his mohawk, but we trimmed it up to look good.
He did very well.

Jump Bunch...FOOTBALL!!

Zack was sooooo excited today when his Jump Bunch teacher brought in FOOTBALLS!!
He showed her how he "Hold's the Laces" to throw it.
He couldn't wait to get home to tell daddy about his Football Jump Bunch day.
Here is a video clip:

Holy Cow!!

I finally got normal pictures of my kids!!
They look AMAZING!
I only had to beg a little to get decent smiles, then snap the picture really fast before they melted into cheezy grins.
I am so proud.
(well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad)

I am Thankful for...

Mom and Dad
They have always been there for me. Raising 7 kids was NOT easy, we all gave them their gray hair and took all their money. Dad still found time to be "Team Dad" for my color guard squad, help out at the Bronco Games selling Hot Dogs for the 1989-1990 Bear Creek Marching Band, build me a chalk board for my bedroom because I said I wanted one, and kick my boyfriend out when he was yelling at me. Thanks Dad.
Mom was "Team Mom" for the Best Junior Drill Team in America - STARS!!
She encouraged me to dance, when all the other girls were cuter, prettier and much more talented than me. Helped me to make my prom dress when the stores just didn't have anything 'modest' enough. And most of all, taught me how to be the BEST Mom to my own 4 kids. I love children because of the Love she taught me. Thanks Mom.
Todd
He is the BEST husband in the world. He has supported me through all my 'faults' and accomplishments. He accepts me and loves me even though I am NOT perfect. He is always making me laugh...even if we are in the middle of Wal-Mart grocery shopping, he will have me rolling on the floor laughing. He is an AMAZING father. He finds time to be with each child, tucks them into bed every night and kisses them goodbye every morning. He celebrates their accomplishments and cryes with them when they lose. Thanks Todd.
Jordan, Tyler, Emily & Zackary
Each one of my wonderful children.
Each has their own, very different personality. Sometimes they get along...most of the time they don't. I know they love each other, and want to be together. They help each other out, cheer for each other, and encourage each other.
We had only planned for maybe 2 kids...Thank goodness we got more than we planned for. I am the luckiest person in the world to have such great, well behaved, and good mannered kids. Thanks guys.

I truly have a lot to be thankful for this year.
Not only the people I have already talked about, but also for a wonderful career (yes with children - 174 to be exact) a beautiful house, a van that runs, beautiful neices and nephews that I get to see and spend time with, as well as my siblings and their spouses that I have grown closer to now that we all are adults, and 2 dirty smelly dogs that are always getting into the trash. Yes, I am even thankful for that.
I truly have a lot to be thankful for this year.

Carnation Bowl 2009

They did it!! They made it to the Carnation Bowl!!
The entire team sported mohawks. Team Spirit. They had it.
They were the coolest group of 13 year old's I have ever had the privilage to meet.
The 5 coaches were pretty cool, too.
The game started at 4:30 in a 5 star stadium, complete with announcer who introduced all the players over the loud speaker. They asked each boy's mother to go down to the field, and the boys gave us each a blue carnation.
We cryed.
I took a quick picture of my 2 guys right before the game started.
WOW! Look at those 'Friday-Night-Lights'.
This is AWESOME!
"How do y'all feel?" "FIRED UP!"
"How do y'all feel?" "FIRED UP!"
"What time is it?" "GAME TIME!"
"What time is it?" "GAME TIME!"
"Who are we?" "WILDCATS!"
"Who are we?" "WILDCATS!!!"
"BREAK DOWN"
"1-2-3 WILDCATS!!'
We lost the game. Green Mountain was really good. Undefeated. Our guys played their hearts out. It was a good game.
8-28
AMAZING
We made it to the Carnation Bowl!!

Mohawks

All my guys got Mohawks.
The Coaches of the Wildcats told the players that if they made it to the Carnation Bowl, they would ALL get Mohawks!
After practice today, Todd cut his hair, and Jordan said a bunch of the boys were going to cet them, so Dad cut his hair, too. Tyler and Zack got Mohawks to show support for the team.
They are the coolest bunch EVER!!

11.15.2009

We WON!!! Carnation Bowl...HERE WE COME!

Freeeeezing snow and rain fell during the game. It was C-C-C-COLD!!!

That is one Proud Coach!! (and DAD!!)

He couldn't hold back the tears...He was soooo happy to finally make it this far. It is his LAST year of Midget Football.
7 years of playing and it is his LAST year that they make it to the Carnation Bowl!!
It has all paid off.

Trick or Treat!!

Here is my Hannah Montana! isn't she pretty? We went to Uncle Ryan Schultz's house for a Halloween Party, then Trick-or-Treating.

Jordan was a "Dead Football Player" someone slit his throat...I don't know, his idea...

Here are all my kiddo's:
Lightning McQueen
Indiana Jones
Hannah Montana
& Death
They carved their pumpkins...they all turned out really cute. Look at my kids faces, whenever I say, "Let me get a picture!" This is the pose I get...uggg. One day I would LOVE a normal picture of my kids!!
Happy Halloween!!

Pumpkin Patch & Dinner at Grandma's

Zack and Alice haven't seen each other in a few months, but that did not stop them from playing with each other. They had so much fun together!
Van found his pumpkin!! There were acre's and acre's of pumpkins to look thru. Conveniently Van's was right next to the cars!!

Zack insisted on a tiny pumpkin. Daddy picked him one a little bigger to carve, but look at this face, he was so proud of his "tiny pumpkin"

Emily and AB roamed thru the fields with Grandma and both found nice pumpkins to carve, they laughed at the "mis-shapen" pumpkins...and the one that looked like a 'Bum-Crack'

All the little grand kids in the back of the Tahoe warming up with Grandpa.

After everyone found the perfect pumpkin, we went to Grandma's house for soup and sandwiches. Great Grandma and Uncle John (who was in town from Arizona) came over for dinner, too. Everyone had such a fun time!!
