Sad House Update...

OK so the house on Maplewood that we LOVED, we had an inspection on, an appraiser went in and we were told that it was a sure thing...went "sour", so our realtor said. Of course I am NOT HAPPY. So now we have 2 weeks to look for a new house that is in our price range, big enough for my family, in a decent neighborhood, have another inspection, get another appraisal, and close before the 30th of this month. As you know, we were told that it would be OK to turn in our 30 day notice, so we did. Not to mention that the Down Payment Assistance that we need will no longer be available after October 1st. We will have nowhere to go after the end of the month if we don't move quickly. Of course we still have our family, full time jobs, football, (one member of my family is a player and one is a coach!!) karate practice, and a 6 year old and a 2 year old who need to be bathed, fed and loved...moving quickly is a hell of a deal.
The stress that Todd and I feel is overwhelming.
I feel that the world is slowly crumbling around us, I make silly mistakes at work, and one thing leads to another causing a 'snowball' effect. I feel it is all my fault. I didn't give my daughter a proper birthday - living in boxes is not ideal for entertaining, and I don't have my camera for even a picture of my beautiful birthday girl.
We wasted 3 months hoping for this one house, when we should have been out looking for others. We were so close. It just took one person to 'drop the ball' and not do her job - now we may be homeless. My sister said we can rent out her house, that is really sweet, however she is trying to sell her house. Bringing a family of 6 into it, will not sell it. We could shack up with Mom and Dad, but with Dad's health issues, the last thing he needs is a family of 6 driving him CRAZY.
OK - I have vented enough. Please keep us in your prayers, if anyone has any leads on a 4 bedroom 2+ bathroom house, in a good neighborhood, please send us a line.
Love you all.

shi*. Who needs maplewood anyhow... That sucks and I can only imagine how you are feeling. Well, good news... there are like a billion cheap homes you can buy in the best neighborhood ever... right next to me. They have a swim park, splash pads, football fields, karate things, and dance studios all here. Tell Todd Snow is just an hour away. There is a 5 bedroom for $195 ready to go. I'll let em know you want it. Cant wait to have you here with us!! xoxo me
