Buddy
He is back. We started this tradition when we moved into our house 4 years ago. The little kids LOVE waking up in the morning wondering where he is, the big kids like it to, as he has 'friended' them on Facebook!! (always watching!!)

Kindergarten Christmas
I had so much fun watching Zack and his friends attempt to build their Graham Cracker Houses. They ate more candy than they put on the house! So much fun!!

Baking...
In an effort to heat my house, I turned on my oven to bake something Christmas-y.
Candy-Cane Cocoa Cookies

Step 1- get the yummy candy cane kisses unwrapped... 5 year olds are really good at this. Zacks motto, "open one, eat one, open one, eat one!"

Step 2- make the dough... Found at allrecipes.com

Step 3- cool, dust with snow (powder sugar) try to keep kids out till after dinner.
There you have it. Baking 101. Easy way to heat the house. Well, kitchen.

Addicted
Hello. My name is Kim and I have an addiction. At times I am ashamed, but mostly I am not. I love it. It is Pinterest.
I cannot seem to stop watching the Pin boards. There are so many creative, crafty people out there, who are smart enough to post what they make. (Yay you!)
Well, after looking (and repinning) a lot of really cute things, I finally decided to try a few myself. And thanks to my iPod touch, a camera is always readily available!
Here are a few pinterest creations brought to life by me:

EASY donuts... The kids LOVED them. Refrigerator biscuit dough, cut the hole out with round cookie cutter, dip donut and hole in cinnamon sugar, bake according to package directions. We made a glaze to go over the top, and then I even dipped some in chocolate frosting! Yum!!

Today I made 'Heavenly Hand-cream' wow. This stuff is GOOD! Baby lotion, vitamin E cream, and Vaseline. That's it. I whipped it in my mixer, and found these cute jars in the dollar section at Target. Love it! Think I am gonna give it to my infant teachers at the Day Care. They wash their hands a million times a day, and their hands crack so bad.
Well, I have made other things, too. I guess I just didn't take a pic of it. You should see the ornaments I am making right now. So damn cute.

First Game Ever
So Zack had his first game scheduled for Saturday, the 10th. It was in Arvada, about 30 minutes from our house. We got there and they told us that our game was canceled. The coach wasn't told, nothing. We were not very happy. However, another team said they would stay after their game to scrimmage us. The boys were pretty happy about that. The other team was 8 & 9 year olds. That's ok, we still did really well.

Here is Zack's team. The Grizzlies. (Yep. Zack is the littlest.)

Defense... Defense...

Waiting for his turn. He really did a great job. It is so much fun watching midget football...even if it is flag football. Zack loves it...and Todd does, too.

Flag Football
Football. It is a way of life. Our life. Not a day goes by where I don't have to dodge a flying football just to get to my kitchen. (Yes, footballs being thrown in the house, somehow I lost that battle...)
He has grown up going to every one of his big brother's football games.
Many days he would carry a football behind his back and walk up to his daddy and say, "Daddy, guess what I have?" and they would play catch. He has been throwing since he was 2. He even holds the laces the right way, just like Daddy showed him.
He is one hell of a little football player. This is going to be a good year.
