First Game Ever

So Zack had his first game scheduled for Saturday, the 10th. It was in Arvada, about 30 minutes from our house. We got there and they told us that our game was canceled. The coach wasn't told, nothing. We were not very happy. However, another team said they would stay after their game to scrimmage us. The boys were pretty happy about that. The other team was 8 & 9 year olds. That's ok, we still did really well.

Here is Zack's team. The Grizzlies. (Yep. Zack is the littlest.)

Defense... Defense...

Waiting for his turn. He really did a great job. It is so much fun watching midget football...even if it is flag football. Zack loves it...and Todd does, too.

Flag Football

Football. It is a way of life. Our life. Not a day goes by where I don't have to dodge a flying football just to get to my kitchen. (Yes, footballs being thrown in the house, somehow I lost that battle...)

He has grown up going to every one of his big brother's football games.

Many days he would carry a football behind his back and walk up to his daddy and say, "Daddy, guess what I have?" and they would play catch. He has been throwing since he was 2. He even holds the laces the right way, just like Daddy showed him.

He is one hell of a little football player. This is going to be a good year.

First Day of School

Zack...ready for Kindergarten!

His Superman back pack. Cool.

Pretty Emily... 3rd Grade

Walking to the classroom doors...

Same school, different teachers. Yay, Alice and Zacky!

He was so nervous... Broke my heart. Daddy had to step in.

He only cried a little thru out the day. It was very weird as NONE of my other kids ever cried! I was the only one who cried each time. Dad and I took him the first few days. He cried the second day, too, but just at drop off. He made a friend, and said "bye" to him. It was cute. Starting next week, he will be riding the Day Care van, and Emily will walk him to class.

Estes Park - Cub Lake

We went up to Estes Park. Just to go. Entered into Rocky Mountain National Park... And hiked the 2.3 miles to Cub Lake. It was beautiful...then we had to hike another 2.3 miles back.

This is what all that hiking did to my 4 kids:

2011Littleton Fire Muster

We went to the Fire Truck Parade & Muster in Littleton this morning with all the Cousins!!! Zack just loved it! We stood in line with a very impatient 2 year old, Van to ride on the fire truck. Once we got on, the boys had so much fun! We waved to grandma and grandpa and everyone. Then we played in the water and waited in line to spray the fire hose.

Zack is weird...

Zack "putting out the fire"

Emily's turn! We had so much fun. Thank you Uncle Randy and Aunt Katelyn!

Fun with the Schultz's

Jen is getting Married in 2 weeks.
(She is the one in the middle)
(The groom is Erik, he is on the left)
We went to Black Hawk for their Bachlor/Bachlorette party.

It was a LOT of fun.

Here are my winnings...
Todd and I started out with $80 to "play" with.
$40 for him, and $40 for me.
We only lost $8.75.
Not too bad.
