Big changes...

Well it is the New Year. Made resolutions, stuck to most of them, gave up on others. What's new.

Got a new owner at the Day Care. After 12 years, the old owner, Laurie finally sold. It is for the better, she had health issues she needed to take care of, so she sold.

The new owners, Jayson and Robin seem pretty cool. They are not too interested in changing things. I have run things for the last 5 or so years and things seem to be going good. Everyone seems happy.

Then today. Bobbie retired. Just out of the blue. She is 65 almost and ready to go. I thought I would be happy. Dancing on air, celebrating...well, not so much. I am pretty sad. She was old, didn't do much to help around the center, made me mad more days than not, but I have worked with her for 12 years. She was the when I announced I was pregnant with 2 of my kids. She has always been there for me. She has loved my kids and has done great things for them.

Kinda a sad day for me. I am not a fan of change. I sure hope everything works out for the best. You never know.

My school is enrolling...if you know of anyone who needs care, send them my way!

Happy New Year!

As we say goodbye to 2010, let us take a moment to reflect on some of the Highlights:

1.) Ryan & Ema's wedding on the First day of 2010
2.) Jordan turns 14!
3.) Todd and Kim go to HAWAII!
4.) Zack turns 4!
5.) Emily turns 8!
6.) Tyler turns 12!
7.) Todd and Kim's 16th Wedding anniversary
8.) Jordan plays quarterback for BCHS Freshman football
9.) Todd and Kim go to the Historic Stanley Hotel for a Ghost Tour... Is it haunted?
10.) Todd and Kim plan our first Ghost Hunt with Ryan and Ema back at the Stanley... It just might be haunted!
11.) Thanksgiving dinner at our house with the Schultz's, Randy & Katelyn, Sharon, Jeff and Jake (Katelyn's mom and brother)
12.) Todd's birthday
13.) CHRISTMAS! Santa was good to the kids this year, and me!

Hopefully 2011 will be just as wonderful as most of 2010 was. The roller-coaster ride that was involved in 2010 will not be missed, but all the wonderful other parts will be. 2011 will be filled with goals, trips, growing and changing and becoming closer as a family.

Here we go!
